going green

I LOVE to decorate for holidays...OK, let's face it, I LOVE to decorate. period.
BUT, I do not have that much stuff for " the wearin 'o the green" day...at least I THOUGHT I didn't have that much stuff..
It's amazing what can happen when you incorporate a "few" key pieces, and just add whatever else works.
SO, this is what I came up with...
I added this green plate (shhh, don't tell it's plastic!) to my L U C K blocks, tied a ribbon onto the plate rack, found some candles and some potted grass (LOVE potted grass) and, I think it turned out pretty cute!
a couple of shamrocks, and a green ribbon tied to my plant
again, 1 holiday item, some grass, and a ribbon.

simple, and festive...and I'm not even Irish! :)

Hi Amber,
I just found your blog from CRAFTIFYIT, and I must say, I am already a fan. I love your decorating style and ability to see what can become in a project. I also love the way you write, very entertaining. Thanks and I can't wait to see more!

I love what you did with all of the St. Patty's decor! Did you get that awesome black shelf from Rod Works? I LOVE that place!

Ok, so I am loving your blog!!! Soooo many cute posts!!!! How fun that you have the matching furniture!!! We used to have it, but sold it when Hubby and I first got married, I am kicking myself now!! The dresser was really easy to do!!! I bet the rest of the set would look amazing!
Hugs,
Sariah

I think the L U C K blocks and the grass are the perfect St. Pat's decorations. It's too late for me this year, but I'm going to remember both next year!
